Waikiki

I initially hoped to use my companion certificate on United to fly out but timing did not work out for me. Still, I wanted to see friends before a baby arrived and hopped out to Hawaii for a quick trip. Checked into the Hokulani Waikiki HGVC . This particular timeshare property is more "city" like than resort. Rooms are a bit smaller and the pool isn't that big. However, you are also in the heart of Waikiki and easier to navigate the hustle and bustle. Bathroom in Hokulani - tub water comes from ceiling Timeshare policies are that you check out at 10 am but I didn't fly out until 10 pm that night. I opted to stay for the day at Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki. It's a new facility and right across from the International Marketplace and my favorite patisserie! On the last day, I opted to book a room at the Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki . Even though I was not staying the night, I did want a place to crash for the day before the flight home. Santa Barbara, CA

Went on a road trip with my furbabies and checked into the Hilton Santa Barbara Resort . I had hoped to check out some of the dog beaches in Santa Barbara but the weather was too nice and people were jam packed in the limited parking spaces at Arroyo Burro Beach. I ended up going to Shoreline Beach Park but it wasn't much of a beach but more of a park alongside a cliff that you can see the ocean from. Nice long park and plenty of people out and about on a Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, one of the furbabies had a tummy issue and we were waylaid for the night. The Hilton had on its website that they accepted a max of 150 lbs for pets but when I checked again, the policy went down to 75 lbs. They didn't verify my dog's size/breed etc but I did sign a pet policy. The rooms are very large and the dogs were comfortable in the living space. We ordered room service and was able to put both dogs in the bathroom. Per the pet policy, you had to have the dogs in kennel when any ho
