Dominican Republic - Sanctuary Cap Cana
Courtesy of my partner's job, I was given the opportunity to fly to the Dominican Republic and stay at an all-inclusive resort for an extended weekend. Due to the nature of the trip, I didn't leave the resort to really see the island so this post will mainly be about getting to the Dominican Republic and the hotel amenities. Flew on United Airlines through Dulles International Airport to land at Aeropuerto Internacional Luis Munoz Marin. Since all the expenses were taken care of, I was whisked away on a shared shuttle to Sanctuary Cap Cana . On the return trip, I did not have the time or inclination to test out the Priority Pass Lounge nor did United have access to a lounge in this airport. I suppose the fact that I was upgraded to business class from IAD to Dominican Republic tells you that not that many United fliers get down to this island. Ironic since I assumed when Continental Airlines merged with United that many East Coasters head to the Dominican Republic. Sanctuary C...
